Agri City Guide
Agri located at the Eastern Anatolia is the spot connecting Anatolia to Iran. The city taking its name from Agri Mountain has been a gate for the civilizations coming from Central Asia to Anatolia. Tourist Attractions
Agri Mountain, an extinct volcano with a height of 5.137 m, is the second highest mountain of the world. Located near the intersection of Turkey, Armenian and Iran and 15 km away from Dogubeyazit district Agri Mountain is also the highest mountain of Turkey. Agri preserves the authentic Anatolian culture. The places at Dogubeyazit district selling authentic carpets and kilims (rugs) are famous. You should buy these authentic motives as memory or gift.
